This spout is an adequate replacement for the builders' model; very similar in fact to that model. Minimal installation difficulties and water diverting mechanism works well.

The adjustable distance allows overcoming non-standard wall nipples, h0wever the sealing of the diverter valve is incomplete. If you have a bath with non-standard nipple this will however solve you wall distance problem ( within about 1.25 ").

This works great! showerhead water pressure is much stonger! Note: housing assembly is larger than 3/4 in dia I think actual is almost an inch but with face bushing and plumbers tape it works! just seal the back of tub spout to the wall Done DIY project Thanks!
