A: Hi Steve. Yes, this splice will connect two pieces of 1-1/2"s/40 alum pipe (1.9" OD) together. We designed this splice with adhesive channels so you may lightly add general or metal epoxy to it prior to insertion for an industrial grade connection. Thank you for your question. Dan H. A: Yes this is the coupling use pliers to squeeze coupler by the lip slide 1/2 into pipe
A: Hi Gene. Check with Home Depot Installation Services or contact a 101 Mobility in your area. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org with your general location and we can possibly provide you with a contractor. Thank you for your question. Dan H. (EZ Handrail Dev. Team)
A: Hi Larry. I concur with the community answer of cutting down two 6' handrail kits. Thank you HD Community! Dan H. (EZ Handrail Dev. Team).
A: I would buy 2 of the 6 foot rails and connect them with the splice Home Depot sells. Of course that would be 12 foot but you then have two choices to meet your 11 foot requirement. Use a chop saw to cut off 6 inches from each end (not the ends for splicing) or try to fudge your rail to utilize all twelve feet if possible. I did the same thing with the 8 foot rails and just made my rail a little long and it works fine.
A: Yes 1 1/2" sch 40 pipe is 1.9" OD I think the other guy is thinking 1.5" OD tubing.
A: No, we do not have a splice to fit a 1 1/2 aluminum pipe. Thank you for your question, Dan H. (EZ Handrail Dev. Team)
