These color matched masonry fasteners are the perfect solution for mounting EZ Handrail brackets (eza200-w) to concrete, block or brick walls. The 3/8 in. shaft fits tightly into the fastener hole creating a connection that will withstand even the heaviest of loads. Answer This Question

A:  Hi DHandy. They are not required, just an optional fastener for a masonry/brick/block wall handrail installation. The round handrail kits only include 5/16" x 2-1/2" stainless wood fasteners, no masonry fasteners. You are welcome to use any 1/4" through 3/8" x 2" embedment masonry anchor you prefer. I particularly like 5/16" x 2-1/2" SS sleeve anchors, but they are difficult to find at times. Please note, these are 3/8 diameter by 3" masonry anchors, very large by design and can be used for commercial installs. Thank you for your great question. Dan H. (EZ Handrail Dev. Team)

        A:  Hi TK. Predrill your holes at 5/16" x 4" useable width/depth. This usually requires a 5/16" x 6" masonry drill bit. Thank you for your question, Dan H. (EZ Handrail Dev. Team)
