The EZ Glass Railing Kit is a premium glass baluster railing solution for decks, patios and more. Each kit contains 8 in. glass balusters, top and bottom rails, silicone rubber extrusions for securing the glass without messy caulks, fasteners and mounting brackets for easy assembly and installation between existing posts.     How do i get more white rubber spacers and rubber seals for glass panels. I closed the gap between glass panels and need more of both? Thanks

    That would be the only drawback is additional parts. I called Manufacturers and they deferred to Home Depot. The only additional parts I found were the upper and lower brackets for rail to post install.

    Can this product be used on stairs? Do I need to just use stair mounting brackets?

    Hi BR. No, this kit will not work on stairs. Glass must be cut and tempered in parallelogram shapes to the slope of your stairs. This is most commonly done through a local glass company after providing them with a cardboard cutout of your exact shape or hiring them to come onsite and take measurements once the bottom rail is installed. I personally used our 1" aluminum baluster railing for my stairs and all level runs are glass. Check out model# EZ8RW.     Yes I used 12" LED lights from VOLT company (I drilled hole in the hollow rail system that exited against the house and concealed the wire between end rail and the house. LED's look great with the glass.

    Hi Alaka. Absolutely, just as the HD community was nice enough to respond, we offer this same kit without glass and the full strips 6' or 8' strips of rubber glazing to lock in full length 1/4" tempered glass panels. The kit is not currently on homedepot.com (7/3/20) but is available at your local Home Depot Pro Desk. Simply ask to purchase model# EZG800-NG - the "dash NG" stands for no glass and this naming convention holds true across all of the EZ Glass Railing Kits. Just an FYI, I've had this exact full panel glass system installed at our home for 8 years now and my wife just commented the other day on how much she still enjoys it.     This rail system looks great. The instructions are a little hard to follow, rail support block is imperative step that should be noted as "important" step during assembly. It is called out but if you overlook this step you'll have to attach in an undesirable way. I needed a few more bolts (shorted) but the vendor got them out promptly and seemed great to do business with. The construction is very solid and sturdy once assembled. The glass panels make for a great look in my waterfront application. Money well spent for this job.

    My handyman installed using my existing post. He was even impressed with ease and look . The tempered glass has not needed cleaning yet it's been 3 weeks. When needed, a water hose rinse will do. The glass doesn't spot even from splashes from washing deck. I had a lot left over from kit, and so was a bit wasteful. One area I had the glass cut so to install in a small corner. I used rails verses glass going down steps, this required a differant set of swival adapters then the kit supplied. However Home Depot had. The deck is amazing looking . Reminds me of a Miami beach front condo. I would do agin with another future home if it has a deck. Creates a beautiful open feel viewing the pool and yard. And no more painting rails!

    I installed 3 sections of this railing on my deck and couldn't be happier with the results. The railings along with the post come together easily and provide a cohesive look without blocking the view. Love the separate glass so that the wind still can come through between and under the railing. Though, wish the railing and posts are more integrated so that it would show less screws but that's a personal preference. The installation went smooth and probably most time was spend with aligning the railings and glass separation. For this is I used some precut wood blocks to ensure all spaces match. As I was on my own, the hardest was trying to install the upper railing but some clamps and leaving the front screws out made it easier to install the glass.

    All of the parts and pieces are good qualty and fit perfectly. I found it easier to install the bottom and top rails per instructions but left out one screw on each end piece for the top rail. This allowed me to tip the top rail slightly to insert the glass. Not too far or glass might fall out. Using soapy water definitely helps installing the splines. Using the 2×4 pieces as guides helps but you should still use a level on railings in case deck is not level. The railings do not block my beautiful view.

    EZ-PZ. Product arrived on time, with all pieces securely wrapped so there was no damage. Instructions were clear with helpful installation tips. Anyone with basic skills should be able to install with no problems. Bought this for my exterior deck, but realized that the exact same amount of materials were needed for my interior balcony, so installed this set inside. Will reorder another set for the exterior.
