Product Overview
The EZ 202 is a portable natural gas powered tankless water heater that allows for quick and easy hot water anywhere. With its ability to heat a continuous water flow, RV and camp site users rave about the ability to take shower, after shower, after shower. No longer will RVers be plagued by the short shower times permitted when using a small tank type water heater. Featuring easy to use dials on the front of the heater, most users can have the unit up and running in less than 15 minutes. This unit is designed for outdoor installations, but if installed indoors, it must be installed in a room containing at least 4000 cu. ft. of combustion air. When installed outdoors a vent pipe is not needed nor required unless otherwise specified by local codes.
- A 4.0 GPM portable tankless water heater at a 35°F temperature rise can easily provide enough hot water for your campsite or RV
- A natural gas tankless water heater offers the most comfortable shower available when resources are limited
- With no stand-by energy loss or recovery time necessary; a tankless water heater allows shower after shower unlike a typical 5 Gal. tank
- 1 year warranty on heat exchanger and parts
- Energy factor is 0.84
- Utilizes a 130 mm vent pipe (sold separately) but with an outdoor installation no vent is needed
- Requires a natural gas supply with an 7 in. WC pressure setting and a source of water flow with at least 8 psi
- 20 minute timer - unit will shut down after 20 minutes to prevent overheating of the heat exchanger; unit can be reset by closing and reopening water tap
- 15 minute setup

Garbage
This heater has never worked right. It will only run on low if it does run at all. I’ve replaced the limit switch, the micro switch, the valve, cleaned all the air ports, still wont run properly. Water pressure is fine, it just flames out constantly. Original purchase was $338 and ive spent $100 or so on parts so I’m easily $450 into this hunk of junk. Never again!

Very disappointed
I'm loyal homedepot customer for years. Last year brought this 202 water heater for outdoor kitchen now suddenly stop working changed D batteries no go. Called the warranty and support line no one answered very disappointing, look like homedepot start selling shady products when come to warranty no one cares.

I had problem after set the heater didn't work. I called company for the problem, they find out water pressure was low. After I took out the filter of water faucet, works very nice.

101 VS 202
The 202 is a great unit that can supply twice as much warm water as the 101. It sports a digital temp display and is wrapped in a solid frame. The 101 is plenty of water for campers and etc. The 202 is recommended for users that need a little more warm water. They are perfect for pool showers etc. The 202 need no external power!!! Just hook up the water, gas, and install the batteries for warm water.
