A: The Acid Stains can be diluted with water at a maximum dilution rate of 1:1. It is always best to do a test area with acid stains to determine color.
A: Since the fiber cement board contains cement and has the material needed to cause the acid stains to react, it is possible to get some level of staining if it does not have a primer or previous coating already applied. That is not a normal application and a test should be performed to determine how much and what color will be generated.
A: The product will likely destroy the fiber cement. It deeply etched the stamped concrete that I used it on. Also not happy with the results at all.
