Eagle Acid Stains create marbled variations of color on cured concrete by chemical reaction with the minerals in the concrete. Every concrete floor will react with its own unique pattern. Once sealed with clear sealer, your floor will pop with an elegant look. Acid staining is a tedious process. Eagle concrete dyes should be considered if a simple process is important.

Eagle Acid Stain will cover 200-400 sq ft per gallon depending on the porosity of your concrete. It can also be diluted with water at a 1:1 ratio to cover approximately 600-800 sq ft per gallon.
Material made with cement should theoretically produce color with our Acid Stain. We recommend performing a test area to see how the stain reacts and to make sure it does not damage your plaster.

Eagle Products are designed to be applied to concrete and are not recommended for use on natural stone.
Depending on what sealer was used, you should be able to clean your surface, let it dry, and re-seal with the same product used before. If you used a solvent based sealer, the sealer will melt back into itself and should be no problem. Water based sealers are applied in layers and usually last about 2-3 years, so it may not be time for another application just yet.
