Just had our basement grinded, surface is now very porous. We were going to put a penetrating water based sealer on to help with moisture. We are hoping if we do that first it will also help the dye to not completely disappear into the pores. Our thoughts: Penetrating Sealer, Dye Stain, then 2-3 coats of Glossy top coat sealer. Does this sound like the right process?
