Used to save my patchy acid stain job
I did a blue acid stain on my concrete floors and it turned into a patchy mess. Although the concrete was uniform in color and my test spot worked, the acid stain would not react with certain areas of my concrete floors. The acid stain left big spots of grey concrete admist all the blue stain, and basically looked like a bad chalk art project. I purchased this prodcut to layer over the acid stain (after it had been neutralized) and it turned out fantastic! I used the same $15 plastic sprayer I had used for the acid stain and I made a figure 8 motion holding the nozzel about 18inches from the floor to create variation in the color. It was very easy to apply and the smell wasn't particularly strong. The color ranged from the color pictured in the add to a dark almost purple color. I suggest spraying on the first layer of sealer instead of rolling the sealer as it will pull up some of the color. Also becareful if you use plastic to protect your walls. If you spray an excessive amount on the plastic it will drip down and create a noticable stain line on the floor.

eagle concrete stain- blue poppy
It was fairly easy to work with. It said to buy a sprayer with special nozzle (too much process). I honestly mixed it in a 5 gallon bucket with 1 gallon of water and rolled it on my shop walls and floor. It is an artist shop so I wasn't going for Martha Stewart, more Vincent Van Gogh 'stary night', which is exactly how it looked when dried. I also bought Jade color (not true to color sample on line but nice) and sweet potato color (beautiful!) and did sort of a transitional color room (again my creative space). They were all rolled on with roller with 4 ft. extension. I like the way it turned out. Disclaimer: I am not a perfectionist and was going for an artistic mottled look. It is expensive stuff, but I am pleased with the uneven finish on my concrete walls and floor space.
