Has anyone had this product applied for any length of time?

I applied this to our stamped, stained concrete patio 4 years ago. Most of the area is well shaded. The one area constantly exposed to the Texas sun is starting to look patchy, so I'm back shopping for more. 4 years is a pretty good life.

I was interested in using this on my soon to be painted basement floor. Does it hold its shine for a while?

Also will it be slippery?

I used my on paver stones outside on a lanai. Since the pavers have a rough finish, there never was a lot of shine, but there was some and that lasted over a year. And again that was in the sun and rain.

does this work for pavers?

Yes and it looked great for several months, but then it began to turn white as trapped moisture leached from my pavers. I had to pay a company - Dura Guard - to come high pressure wash and reseal them. With a 5 year warranty I'll it done again instead of risk doing it myself!

Can this be used as a vapor barrier to prevent moisture migration under a vinyl plank floor? In other words, will this prevent moisture from surfacing from a concrete slab?

Absolutely it will! This product forms an acrylic seal and penetrates the upper layer of concrete like polyurethane penetrates and seals wood. Water on the surface just beads up and rolls off. So, if it protects from the surface elements, it also protects moisture migration from below to the surface. Be aware, for the best seal, you need to make sure the upper layer of concrete is completely dry and free of moisture till the coating cures (about 24 hours to harden, and a week to fully cure). Moisture in the concrete may cause it to turn milky instead of clear. The seal should be effective, even if the concrete is not fully dry, but as with any acrylic surface, the drier the better.
