The Eccotemp i12 Indoor Liquid Propane Tankless Water Heater is one of the most advanced indoor models of the Eccotemp tankless line. Rated at an impressive 4.0 GPM with a temperature rise of 38 degrees and 80,000 BTU per hour, the Eccotemp i12-LP can meet all your hot-water needs! Eccotemp's advanced 0.7 GPM low flow ignition technology allows users to enjoy endless hot water without experiencing cold spots. We recommend the Eccotemp i12-LP for smaller sized single-family homes, apartments, condos, and cabins as well as small commercial applications. Using 1-2 hot water applications simultaneously is a breeze with the Eccotemp i12-LP. With our upgraded PCB (Product Control Board) performance and an all new gas modulating valve, consumers can experience best in class temperature performance with a price anyone can afford. The compact, wall mounted Eccotemp i12-LP has a 110/120-volt UL listed power cord that powers the internal Exhaust Fan, Digital Display and PCB. With its fully automated control system, the Eccotemp i12-LP only pulls about 0.5 amps during operation, making it an ideal for low energy consumption and efficiency. The Eccotemp i12 has been tested at elevations up to 2000 feet. Installation and use of the Eccotemp i12 above 2000 feet may affect overall product efficiency and performance. Installation and use of the Eccotemp i12 above 5000 feet is not recommended.

The unit never picked the flow of water , even with several open faucets with an over all water p...
The unit never picked the flow of water , even with several open faucets with an over all water pressure of about 60 - 70 psi. Also tried the relief valve at the heater, still the unit would not pick up the flow. Already have a unit ( different mfg. ) installed and it works great, if it was still being produced it would have been my first choice. Will be returning this and making another selection.

Do NOT Purchase this or any of their products. Poor Quality, peice of crap. I owned the unit for a full 18 months before it stopped working. The company warranty is worthless. If you are interested in throwing away a crap load of money on the unit, installation, removal and shipping of the unit back to them. Then go right ahead and toss your money.

For this price point best heater you can get. Vent pipe does cause overall cost to rise though. Can only run one shower or appliance at a time for hot water. All sinks running will have hot water. Water temperature at heater set at 133 heat out of faucet is 109 roughly in December. 3 bed 2 bath

This unit is very effective and supplies our homes needs. We are happy with this product for now and have hopes that it will last for many years. We also installed a check valve and clean out valves below the unit and cut off valves going to the supply lines both hot and cold. This will allow us to clean this unit periodically with white vinegar to remove the scale and lime build up adding to the units life.

Great working tankless water heater. We installed it in a 1392 ft. mobile home - 3 bedroom 2 bath and ran water from faucets to clean the place ( as an empty ) all day and never ran out of hot water. Just for reference. Very sleek looking. Came with the necessary parts to connect. VERY informational manual, thick like a book with installation & maintanence instructions. Make sure to flush & descale every so often to keep it working efficiently.

Works great, but...
Works great. However it uses way more gas than anticipated. We had a 50 gal gas water heater serving 2 people. We added an ADU for one person, and the insta-hot uses 3 times the gas?
