Q:I just bought 4 Eclpse same color blackout curtains. I noticed 2 had white or cream backing and 2 had black backing. Is the white cream as good on blackout as the black backing. Confused. Thanx. CLAUDE

Faded in six months.
The curtains look at feel great when new. However, with only six months of exposure to SF bay area summer, the color faded to a weird shade of brown. See the attached picture. Very disappointed.

Eclipse black out FRET GREY
It is fabulous curtain blackout . I love this color . I went back to Home Depot wanted to buy it more . But it is gone for this color. You won’t disappoint to choose it if you compare the price and quality that’s so great.

These curtains look very nice in our room. They not only block out light, but also block out some noise as well. We are VERY pleased with this purchase. My 18 year old son (who is VERY difficult to please) likes these curtains so much he wants some for his room (in a solid color....lol).

Love these curtains
I was looking for some window curtains to block out the sun light and reduce the heat in my room. Also since I have extremely loud neighbors that are constantly blasting music, slamming car doors and talking really loud and when I saw that these curtains also offer noise reduction, I will admit that I was skeptical at first because how can a curtain be able to not only block out light but how does a curtain reduce noise and significantly reduces heating and cooling costs especially when my bedroom had become the warmest room in the house (probably due to the blankets I put over my old see through curtains for sun blocking) and I bought them in the store closest to me in Beecher Illinois. As soon as I replaced my old curtains with these curtains, complete blackout curtains and my room started to cool off within an hour. I haven’t woken up in a pool of my own sweat since buying these and my neighbors are no longer waking me up in the middle of the night with their loud noises. These curtains truly do work and I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. Also the pattern is gorgeous. Best investment I’ve ever made. Thank you Home Depot for having these and for an affordable price.

Blocks out the light!
This is a great dark gray print and are a huge improvement over my previous curtains. I thought my old curtains blocked out enough light but these are so much better. I’m hoping they help with lowering the temperature in the house as well.
