I would say the product is nice, it's a very heavy curtain that would certainly block out light, but the color is misrepresented in the image online. The color is more of a "faded" purple rather than the purple in the picture. My wife and I immediately returned them to the store.

White is not white at all
Totally unimpressed by the material and design. Looks very nice in the picture but the white is most definitely not white, looks greyish due to the fabric used on the back to make it a blackout curtain.

Cute for nursery, but not blackout
Curtains are expensive. With that said, these were a great value. They're really cute and perfect for a kids room or nursery. I ordered the white because it looked more grey in the photo. However, it's definitely WHITE with a grey backing. It's more white than grey when hung up though.
I ended up returning the product because although it did help diffuse some of the light, what I was searching for was a blackout curtain. This is NOT blackout, despite saying so in the description. I would consider this "room darkening" at best. There's still quite a bit of light that filters through the curtain. I have a white satin curtain that I'm replacing and this was no better (if that gives a better idea).
I purchased the Home Decorators Collection Room Darkening Drapery Panel instead (Indigo)...now THAT is blackout.

Great curtains for a nursery!
I bought these curtains for the nursery and we love them! They are not super thick but they accomplish what we needed which was blocking light, keeping heat in the room, etc. I am very happy with them considering I tried several other kinds before these. The material is great as well and will be easy to clean. We have a gender neutral nursery so I think they would work perfect in either a boy or girls room (we are having a girl).
