The door frame itself is study and easily to assemble...
The door frame itself is study and easily to assemble and install. But I have two complaints. The door bottom guide requires a channel to be cut at the bottom of my door. I would prefer a U- shaped guide that does not require cutting the door. The little plastic guide also look a little flimsy. Also, there is a matching jamb kit that would make the installation easier and the finished door look good, but for some reason Home Depot dose not carry that. I have to order it from somewhere else.

Steel pocket door frame
This was a little tricky for our contractor to start. Once he figured it all out, it went together very quickly. Since we have paneled walls, the ability to work on the door with out having to tear out a wall later is an amazing option. The quality of the frame is amazing - much better than a wood frame. More $$$ but definitely worth it.

Great Little Kit
Easy enough to throw together...kind of odd in the beginning, but you eventually recognize what the directions are trying to tell you. We bought two of these and they installed flawlessly. The only place I deviated from the instructions was for the little door guide that goes at the bottom of the opening...I didn't like its placement, so I went rogue and ordered one from the place that rhymes with schlAmazon. Best feature of these doors would be how quiet they are when opening/closing them.

The kit did not come with the required door hardware and it seems that the only way to buy the do...
The kit did not come with the required door hardware and it seems that the only way to buy the door hardware is to keep buying the kit until we receive one with the hardware included. The package was sealed and no evidence that it was tampered with. Very disappointing.
