Questions & Answers

how long to charge battery using solar panels?
ByFeb 20, 2026
1 Answer |
Answer This Question

The Delta 2 can be charged using one 220W solar panel, and under optimal sunlight conditions, it will take approximately 5–6 hours to fully charge the unit. Please note that actual charging time may vary depending on sunlight intensity, panel angle, weather conditions, and cable connections. For best results, position the panel in direct sunlight and adjust its angle throughout the day if possible.

How can I use this work the microwave/power in a travel trailer?
    ByDec 23, 2025
    1 Answer |
    Answer This Question

You can use the EcoFlow Delta 2 with a 400W solar panel to power appliances in your travel trailer, including a microwave, with a few points to keep in mind: 1. Microwave Power: The Delta 2 can handle up to 1200W continuous output. Microwaves under this limit (most standard models) can be run safely. Short usage cycles (e.g., 5–10 minutes) will use only a small portion of the battery. 2. Battery Runtime: For example, a 1000W microwave running for 5 minutes consumes roughly 83Wh, which the Delta 2 can handle many times before needing a recharge. 3. Solar Recharge: Your 400W solar panel can fully recharge the Delta 2 in approximately 2.6 hours of good sunlight, making it suitable for daily use. 4. Other Appliances: Low-power devices like lights, a fridge, or electronics can run alongside without issue. In summary, your setup will allow you to comfortably power a microwave in short bursts and other small appliances, while the solar panel replenishes the battery during the day.

Can you charge this system with a gas generator?
          ByNov 23, 2025
          2 Answers |
          Answer This Question

Yes, you can charge the EcoFlow DELTA 2 using a gas generator, as long as the generator provides a stable AC output (120V, 50/60Hz). We recommend using an inverter-type generator to ensure clean and consistent power.

          By|Nov 24, 2025

Yes you can. Plugs right into the gas generator.

Number of 110 volt outlets on this unit ?
                ByNov 22, 2025
                1 Answer |
                Answer This Question

The EcoFlow DELTA 2 has six (6) AC output ports that provide 120V Pure Sine Wave power, with a total output of 1800W and a 2700W surge capacity. Since 120V is the standard voltage, the unit can also support devices that use 110V.

                  Is the battery removable
                  ByNov 22, 2025
                  1 Answer |
                  Answer This Question

If you are referring to the internal battery, it is not removable; however, if you are referring to the DELTA 2 Extra Battery, it is removable as long as the unit is not in use (not charging or discharging).

This is a product one wouldn't necessarily think of purchasing from The Home Depot, but I'm so glad I did. The product is exactly the same as elsewhere, but I received a better price and The Home Depot's reputation of being there during and after the sale.

I purchased the EcoFlow Delta 2 solar generator and 220W solar panel on sale at Home Depot. Then I added a Delta 2 smart extra battery to complete the system. This gear is very well made, high quality and easy to use with the highly functional app. Looks perfect to upgrade your camping routine (lightweight and solar panels fold up); I plan to use it at home to power up important appliances (fridge, internet modem, etc.) in case of wildfire power shutdowns.

Very good for backing up necessities
Very good for backing up necessities during a power outage, and I plan to use it instead of installing an inverter in my truck. I have a river 2 max for my CPAP, and already had a EF220 watt solar panel for that, so when I got the D2 I purchased a second 220w portable panel. Charging from the grid, solar, or an inverter generator is pretty quick and easy. I can now run my refrigerator, small chest freezer, and CPAP with plenty of extra capacity for “comforts” and have more options than just firing up a generator (which isn’t always easy or convenient, and definitely not quiet).

Great Portable Battery for my Photo Booth business
At first I was very hesitant to buy a portable battery for my business, but after doing my research I came to the conclusion that the Ecoflow Delta 2 was the best option for me. The price is also very affordable and it has really served me very well and without any problems.

                    Poor customer experience
Hello Home depot I been experiencing really bad experience with online purchasing. After purchasing 2 solar panels with butteries on March 3rd. Order #WG56527272 spending 3176.87$ I received only batteries and was missing 2 of the 400 watts solar panels. Shipping is as promised for March 7 th. Today is march 13 and I called 3 different times after not receiving my solar panels with the rest my orders. I called home depot online store and was promised that my panels are going to be delivered by March 11. I did not receive my solar panels. So I called 2 time and spoke with Tiaqua on March 11 and she said if I don’t receive my item by March 13 to call back so home depot can reorder my missing panels. I called for the 3rd time and was on hold with the rep David who for over a hour. David was very helpful and guaranteed me a discount for inconvenience and to get my order shipped with priority shipping. David gave me a Case number 3538872 for my missing solar panels. I’m cutting waiting on someone to call me to confirm that my panels are on the way for delivery. I’m very disappointed how home depot did not complete shipping my order when it was promised. I hope home depot management gets this case prioritised and gets my missing solar panels shipped asap.

I am very happy with the flexibility of the Unit
I have a Kia Niro plugging hybrid and I have been wanting, for a long time to put solar panels on the top of it and charge the main battery, with your products I’ve been able to set up two solar panel units that are 160 W each. And here is the magic: I can charge the Delta unit with the panels and the car main battery with the Delta unit at the same time!!!

                      Delta 2 Backup System
This setup is used to power our refrigerator and freezer during power outages. The Delta 2 and extra battery is charged with an EcoFlow 160 watt panel and/or a propane powered generator AC port. The Delta 2 is easy to manage through the app and I hope to purchase an additional solar 160 watt solar panel and an EcoFlow Smart bi-fuel generator to supplement our setup.

                      I like it
My old lead acid batteries are 4 years old and expect they will start to fail. I bought the delta 2 so I could transition to lithium batteries. So far it has been a very good and simple project. I like that it has it's own charge controller with a few different ways to charge. So far so good. Will probably buy the extra battery eventually.
