The ECOP20 should be used only with cold water.
The EcoPure and Whirlpool filters do share a similar design, but should only be used in their respective systems due to threading patterns and filtration claims.
The ECOP20 does use 3/8" diameter lines. We recommend using only the ECODWF filters intended for this system.
Yes, many other drinking water faucets may also be compatible with this system.
The ECOP20 includes a faucet, all necessary tubing, and a water supply fitting to install on your cold water supply pipe.
You will need flat-head and Phillips screwdrivers, pliers, an adjustable wrench, and a tool for cutting tubing. If a mounting hole needs to be made for the faucet, you will also need a drill and 1-1/4" drill bit.
The 3/8" quick connect fittings and tubing is included.
This is dependent on the quantity and quality of water passing through the system. On average the filters should be replaced every six months.
That I do not know. A light comes on at the base every 6 months, then you replace the filters.
