Replacement filter for the EcoPure No Mess Whole Home Water Filtration System (model EPWHE) and will last up to 6 months which is twice as long as most other whole home filters. The systems automatic bypass eliminates the need to shutoff household water supply when changing filters. Dirt and contaminants are captured in the encapsulated filter so there is no need to touch the used, dirty filter media - allowing for a tool-free, easy filter change in just minutes. Yes - I have used both filters and they are identical. They also only last about 2-3 months so one isn't better than the other.
