They look very nice and easy to install. Feels thinner/less durable than another brand I bought for a similar price. The others were reversible, just not the color I chose. That color at Menards was considered “custom”, but not at Home Depot. Great deciding factor though! I would buy again.

We bought three different sizes of this product for three different sizes of windows and the fit and color were exactly what we wanted. I liked that it came with both plugs and screws for mounting. We used the screws, but I noticed that on of the packages of two shutters came with only eleven plugs instead of twelve. This did not inconvenience us but could have inconvenienced a purchaser who chose to mount the shutters with plugs. The manufacturer needs to tighten quality control a bit.

These raised panel vinyl shutters are exactly what we wanted and needed. The vinyl is colored front to back so the color will not wear off. The shutters are molded vinyl and not a one inch solid piece of vinyl, however they look perfect and hang with ease. I drilled the 1/4 inch hole into the concrete morter of our brick home and I used the included plastic connectors rather than the included screws. I recommend watching a couple shutter installation videos to see how it is done. I marked the hole position to line up with the morter top middle and bottom on the shutter first. Then I drilled the 1/4 inch hole in the shutter vinyl with a piece of wood backing on a table. Slilghtly rotate drill bit on bottom two holes to allow for slight shutter expansion in heat and cold. (Note the position of the holes on each window may be slightly different due to the brick & morter layers) Then I positioned the shutter in place next to the window with someone holding the shutter (check with level)and inserted the 1/4 inch concrete drill bit (Bosch is the best brand, DeWalt did not drill into the concrete with ease as the Bosch brand did) to make as mark in the morter at each hole (6 per shutter). Remove shutter and drill each marked hole 2 &1/4 th inch deep(plus the 1 inch of the shutter=3 &1/4th per insructions). Blow out the concrete dust from the hole. Carefully insert plastic mounting plug and gently tap in leaving slight expansion space between plug and shutter. Careful on the ladder,place wood board under legs. Good Luck. they really improve the home street appearance.

The shutters went up very easily on our brick sided house and totally transformed the appearance of the house. I like the maintenance free aspect of the vinyl shutters, knowing I won't have to paint them. Several of the neighbors have commented about how well the shutters looked.
