Ordered two now and both are cracked.
Our contractor opened the box and it was apparent there was a huge crack, painted over with some white brush or marker. He was looking for it like it's common on quartz sinks. We ordered a second one which was not quite so bad but clearly was cracked or ready to split with white out or some paint marker.

BEWARE!!
If I could rate this sink a ZERO, I would! Bought this sink and was in love with it. The color and material were beautiful and it really was the centerpiece of converation with my neighbors when they came over. Then after a few months of having it installed, on Thanksgiving Day, I was boiling potatoes and went to drain them. I started pouring the boiling water in the sink and CRACK! My entire sink blew out! I am so thankful I wasn’t burned from the boiling water when this happened! When I was debating on buying this sink I was going back and forth between this and a cast iron. I went with this one because it was really nice and it said it could withstand high temperatures. Well, it only withstood them for a few months and I could have been seriously injured as a result of it blowing out when it did. I went to the store the next day and bought a cast iron to replace it. Best decision I ever made! Buyer beware! Stay away from this sink!

Cracked! Repeatedly!!!
Loved it for the first 8 months, but then it started cracking under normal every day use! We epoxied the first crack which was right by the drain but that only holds up for a few months. Then about 3 months later the other side of the bowl cracked. Another few months and yet another crack!!! Terrible quality. Going back to stainless!

Not durable /sink cracked
I bought this sink less than two years ago. Poured hot water in it one night and it cracked!!! So disappointed. I have only had my sink fir two years. I spent 300 hundred dollars and now I don't know what to do. Do not buy this sink. It seems like this is common with this product according to another customer. I have never heard of a sink cracking. Is there a recall on this sink that I do not know about???

Not durable
Thought this would last a lifetime. But at year 2 It has cracked in two places pretty substantially. No idea how another crack happened. One is on the right from the drain to up the middle divider. The other is on the front side at the top almost all the way across the left bowl. We’ve been holding the water in by epoxying the Sink but it looks horrible and only lasts so long before it starts leaking again. Would definitely not recommend this product. I do wish I would have gone with stainless.

Love, love, love this sink!!! Had it for eight months and it still looks brand new. Easy to clean, just soap and water and wipe it dry. Not one scratch from pots and pans. And it's black to boot! Who woulda thought. I am totally sold on Elkay quartz sinks. Excellent quality and workmanship. Definitely recommend. A sink that is beautiful to look at, which is a real bonus. Be sure to get the Elkay bottom grid not the imitations. Only wish they had a stopper for the disposal drain. More than met expectations. Great investment.

great look but finish comes off
Bought this sink or one like it by Elkay. I have had it installed for 7 months and the brown finish is already coming off of it. I paid almost 500 dollars for it! Makes me ill!
