30 in. Gas Cooktop in Stainless Steel with 5 Burners including Power Burners

Well put together the glass top is perfect and easy to clean. The grates are heavy but not too much. It's great to have a 5 burner in a 30 inch stove. Priced right as well. Install instructions were missing as far as installing into the counter. Went online found what was needed via the Empava site. The knobs are tricky when turning on the gas they start to click you need to not push down any more and than turn to desired flame as needed. A bit different than the last stove top. Been installed for 2 weeks no issues.

My hubs and I are cooks, and our old electric range was on it's last leg so decided to upgrade to gas. We had never heard of the Empava brand before, but we liked the look of the black tempered glass, and of course the price was great, so we decided to take a chance. Oh my. I'm so glad we did! This cooktop is honestly worth more. I really am dumbfounded at the price. First the unit came packaged very well. And there were no missing parts. The grates are truly heavy-duty; they are continuous grates so they cover end to end which makes moving heavy pots to another burner easy; the bars are spaced wide enough to get good heat under them, but not too wide which would make small sauce and warming/melting pots fall through, even my smallest warming pot still fits nicely on the grates with no teetering; we also ran the grates through the dishwasher and they came out beautifully (even in our horrible 17 year old terrible dishwasher). The glass top is amazing. No other word for it. When I was shopping for a cooktop I really didn't want trendy stainless steel because I hate trying to keep it clean, and after also owning two tops in enamel (black as well as white) I know how that stains and starts looking worn. The glass on this is thick, and it's crazy easy to clean; also the individual burner/flame level icons are not printed on the glass surface, they are actually underneath the glass!, so there is no way they are going rub/wear off like on other units. The smallest burner center-front is good for simmering, as all the others are a little too powerful for that. The largest burner on the far right side is awesome, it cooks up large portions and fast. The knobs are plastic, and while I would have preferred metal knobs, for the price I can't complain. With that said however, the knobs are super beefy and sturdy, they definitely do not have that thin plastic feel that a lot of stove knobs do. I love this cooktop. I'm even recommending it to my family members who are remodeling their home but are on propane - no problem as this unit comes with a propane conversion kit! I honestly could not be happier with this purchase!

It looks nice and seems to work better. I like the regulator, not only will it help save gas, but i enjoy not having to smell it either.

I love this cook top. Have had several different ones but this is the first 5 burner I have owned. It will come in handy for my Mother's day lunch. I definently would recommend it to anyone. I have had it several weeks. Easy to work.

I love the design of this cooktop. I bought it specifically because the large burner was to the side instead of the middle. It looks great and cooks great. The only thing I would mark off for is the igniters and the way the knobs work...they are supers sensitive...one knob you have to press down a lot harder than the others to ignite and the large burner to the far right lights then goes out as you try release the knob after igniting...it usually takes me about five tries to get it lit. Just for further information we have propane, not natural gas.

Not happy with this. The burners will not stay on. Has to restart a few times in order to stay on. Will not recommend this one.
