Q:Can I put in in a hanging container inside my house?

    Answer This Question

A:  It's not really meant to be an indoor plant because it can grow quite large outside. I've never used it as an indoor plant so I'm not sure if it would do well in a small pot. I bought mine in a one gallon pot and I had to get it into a bigger pot to save it. It's thriving again but I can already see that I'm going to have to move it again next year. You may be able to have it inside for a while if it's a small one but watch it for sadness and wilting. As soon as it becomes unhappy, give it a bigger pot and take it outside.

    by|Jul 13, 2022

A:  Yes, it like partially shade. But make sure take it outside overwinter to make sure flower next year. Be careful protect new grow in the early spring if temperature go up but suddenly freeze

Q:Hi! My hydrangea arrived, it is beautiful except a couple leaves have bad insect bites, and I found a dead moth in the package. I was wondering is the plant okay or should I give some spray? Thanks!

        Answer This Question

A:  You could spray with neem oil if the insects are currently on the plant after planting.

        by|Jun 16, 2022

A:  Check for aphids on leaf and spray plant,,should be fine.

          by|Jun 13, 2022

A:  There is absolutely no need to spray if there isn't significant pest pressure, and it is against the law to spray for an insect that is not on the spray's label. Just rinse away aphids and hand-remove any caterpillars. Your plant will be fine.

Q:My wife was at the Culebra and 1604 store looking for these Hydrangeas and there were none. If I ordered these do they come from a warehouse or somewhere else? Is there a phone number I can call to discuss an order?

              Answer This Question

A:  My Hydrangea came well taken care of so I was sure this came from a nursery. It also was packaged very well and I had it in less than 48 hrs. It is doing quite beautifully.

              by|Jun 7, 2022

A:  Online order of plants usually comes directly from the supplier. I've ordered Proven Winners plants in the past and the shipment came from the grower. I've called Home Depot Customer Care line before to discuss a submitted order, but I'm sure you can call to place an order.

                by|Jun 3, 2022

A:  I got 2 of them through the mail last year and planted them with my established hydrangeas. This year they are up and tripled in size and are full of blooms. They were packed well and were healthy and I just kept them well watered while they established.

                    Hydrangea wilted within a week
I have purchased about 700 dollars worth of plants, flowers, soil, and tools from Home Depot in the past 2 months alone. While many plants did thrive, my hydrangea wilted literally within a week. It is still alive and in ground, but barely looking alive. Two bareroot roses and two gallon knock outs were sold with canker, while one rose tree with black spot. The Husky hoe I bought a month ago, broke.

Very beautiful hydrangeas! I ordered 8 of them in the fall and waited until spring to do my review so I could see how they bloomed. Very pretty light pink/purple blooms. None of mine came up blue, But that probably has more to do with my soil pH. When they arrived in the fall many of them had spots on their leaves. This is normal when hydrangeas get moisture on their leaves and the spots cleared up after the plants established themselves in the new soil. I would recommend these.

                      Amazing healthy plants
Got these plants in December and they were only bare roots, look at them blooming now (April) I live in Florida and they are doing great. Just plant them in shade and give plenty of water.

Beautiful plant! Arrived in excellent condition; can’t wait for my hydrangea to grow more and bloom. (Sorry, I took the photo at night.) Being that I’m in Simi Valley, California (Los Angeles metro area) which is in the deep South part of the United States I put my plant on the north side of the house so it would get morning sun and afternoon shade because the other hydrangea that I have like that is doing really well. I put mine in a container and amended the soil with ‘Soil Acidifier’ (available on this website) and put some slow release plant food for acid loving plants.

                            Not like the picture!
Don’t buy online, not at all like the picture. Came with zero blooms, 5 leaves not even a foot tall and molding. Dont recommend to buy this online at all! I added a photo of the same plant for comparison. Left store bought, the right ine is this one. Sad thing is both of then cost the same!

There isn't a standard plant size to correlate with the pot size, and each plant (like people) is an individual, but the photo shown and 3 gallon pot size inferred that it would be a substantial plant. I received a very large pot of dirt with a tiny single digit number of leaves. The POSITIVE is that customer service was great & made the arrangements for its return.

i can't believe Home Depot sent this.
So disappointed. Zero blooms on this plant. Black spots from too much moisture. Holes in the leaves from bugs. I bought on line thinking i woukd recieve similar to what i saw in the store. What a rip off
