This English Garden 39 in. D-Handle Stainless Steel Border Spade has a beautifully crafted ash handle which is tougher and more sustainable than tropical wood, resulting in less vibrations than fiberglass or metal. It's longer than standard handle is attached in the traditional way to the unique, extra-long lipped sockets with multiple rivets for superior strength. This durable and beautiful spade also has a mirror-polished stainless steel head and is a highly functional garden tool that is built to last.       A:  English garden spades are designed to be resharpened. It would be weird if not. Cheap steel used in many American tools cannot be resharpened.
