No- I think they stink like garbage, and the smoke is noxious.

I have never deliberately done this but I would say no. After burning awhile, the logs will fall apart if touched or if pressure is put on them.

They’re dry, ready to go and inexpensive. Adds a little crackle and good flames while they burn.

do they have glue that keeps them pressed together?

I suppose it is glue. The logs stay together for most of the burning time. Some logs last a couple of hours, while others last 3 hours or so. If the logs are not touched during the burning process, they will stay together.

Can I pop popcorn using the Enviro-Log?

Probably not. I tried to use it to catch other logs on fire, and it went out where the log was making contact with it, and because less of it was burning due to the log on top of it, it wouldn't stay lit. If you have a way of suspending the container above it without touching it, and also breaking up the log a little before lighting it, I don't think it will pop popcorn.

Would Never Buy Again
This is a horrible product. Incredibly smoky, and the 'log' never really caught fire well....it just smoldered and blew pieces of ashen debris everywhere. (see image) Really bad. Followed instructions perfectly, but it's nothing but a heap of compacted trash shaped in the form of a log. Burned one log, and will unfortunately be returning the rest of the box to the store...

Burns poorly
The paper lights easily but then the log itself struggles to ignite. Here is a photo after 30 mins. I had to break the log apart to get it truly going. I buy these kind of logs as a convenient way to get my wood fires going. The whole point is the easy lighting feature. They do not light easily. Duraflame’s cost a little more but work as advertised. I returned 4 boxes of the Envirologs and replaced with Duraflames.

Do Not Buy
I just purchased a box of these today. After the paper burns off, the log is going out. Right now there is barely a flame at each end. I even took my gas lighter and tried lighting it again. It flamed a little, and is going out again. This log will totally be out in another five minutes. Do not buy! I wasted $16.00 on a box of these, and will end up putting then into the trash.

Just smoke, no flame
My wife and I bought these logs because we wanted a clean burning log for our new camp fireplace. We were truly disappointed. I think we got actual flame for all of five minutes while the paper burned off. After that, it became a log of simply smoke. We could see no discernible flame but knew that the log was burning because it just omitted so much smoke. Additionally, it seems these logs are made of paper and it is almost like burning a cardboard box. White amber just drifts into the sky as if you are burning paper. I will be returning the remaining five logs that we have in our box and hopefully Home Depot will give us a credit.

HALF THE BURN TIME ADVERTISED !!!
Tried these this week and was disappointed to find a 1.5 hour burn time ... not the 3 hours advertised. That's HALF the time. Nice strong, warm flame for about 1 hour only. Dont recommend these unless you can't find anything else.

A little slow to get going but lasts as long as the other brand and much cheaper . Aesthetically pleasing but doesn’t throw a lot of heat But then again I don’t think that any of these wax logs do. I would surely buy this product again.
