Someone really thought through what is needed for this stand and the scent sticks. The sticks are stored in a metal tube that fits in the stand until the sticks are inserted. I’m not smart enough to realize once you open the box you can easily remove the metal tube and then the stand from the box. For the first stand, I tore the box apart to get at everything. As mentioned on the package, the sticks contain chemicals that may damage wood, which is what the stand is made of. To take care of that problem, two metal inserts are part of the stand so that the sticks will not contact the wood. This allows the stands to retain their nice appearance and last through many refills of the sticks. There are four scent sticks in the package. It is interesting that refills only contain three scent sticks. I set out the stand with 1 Stix. I got involved in other things, but then moved closer to the place I had set the stand, having forgotten about it. I could definitely smell the scent. I went for a walk and returned about two hours later. The scent was slightly noticeable. It was not as strong right next to the stand. I sat at my desk in the next room from where the stand is, and as I worked on this review, I noticed that the scent is here. The scent spreads nicely. I only put one stick in each of two stands, one in the kitchen and one in the dining room. The scent is a faint nice addition to the house. Several days later I was pleasantly welcomed by the scent. The stand is unfinished wood. It looks nice. However, I thought about using the finishing oil I like to use. Then I thought about the manufacturer’s goal of non-toxic ingredients. The oil would add VOCs to the house and I would need to leave the stand outside for several days to avoid the worst of the VOCs. I decided to leave the stand as it is designed as unfinished wood.

I got these and they are awesome. They have a great clean smell and are healthier than other room scents. The display that came with them are a very nice décor as well I used the four sticks for my large living area and just two sticks in the smaller rooms. I love the idea that you can just get the scented sticks as refills and not have to continually by the holder.

This is a well thought out design. Simple yet effective. Each kit provides a stand and 4 sticks that come packaged in a resealable tin that keep them fresh. The scent is infused into the stick so I am assuming that the scent will keep very well in the tin. I am using one in an office that is about 12x14. A single stick is doing the trick. The other I am using in the entryway to our living room. As you walk buy it the scent spreads into the living room. I am using one stick here as well. The scent is refreshing and not overpowering. It is subtle yet it blocks out the musty smell that can get into a house especially in the winter. The manufacturer is environmentally conscience in it packaging and the products materials. It is nice that there is no liquid to spill. No toxins, no PBTs, no CMRs and is safe for people, pets, and plants. I have an acute sense of smell so I have no problem smelling the scent. Someone with a less sensitive nose may have a problem smelling this scent.

Love, love, love! I'm super sensitive to scents and chemicals, so was very happy to find this Enviroscent "stix and stand" product. The scent is heavenly and not overpowering - very fresh, clean and natural. Best of all, I'm not experiencing any kind of reaction to this product, unlike many others I've tried. I've finally found a natural air freshener that makes my home smell fantastic and still lets me breathe easily.
The unit itself is attractive and neutral, in both design and color, to blend in with any decor. It looks nice enough to use as a knick-knack or decoration. I also like that this is a two-pack - I have one upstairs and one downstairs; the entire house has a light, refreshing scent.
Very glad I discovered this product - and this brand - at Home Depot. This is my new go-to air freshener.

The Enviroscent air freshener does a good job. The scent is very gentle, it doesn't overwhelm you with a perfumey smell so if your not a fan of overly strong air fresheners this one could be for you. I placed the stand with two sticks in a 560 sqft room and wound up removing one stick to get the scent just right for me. The stands are sturdy and will hold all 4 sticks if needed. The scent is supposed to last 30 days so we will have to see.

This is a beautiful and rustic looking, driftwood inspired, air freshener.
The holder is absolutely beautiful (see close up pictures below)
The scent is wonderful, not perfume(y) but an elegant light fragrance that is light on the air and not overpowering.
I have one of these in my powder room (with just two of the sticks in it) and one on my desk (with two fragrance sticks) and it is perfect.
The fragrance sticks come in a an aluminum tube (almost looks like a cigar holder) so they stay fresh for a long time before you use them.
I really LOVE these, and highly recommend them.

I like the idea behind the Enviroscent Air Freshener. This product was well thought out for it's environmental properties. All of it is recyclable due to eco-friendly materials. They use pure essential fragrance oils soaked into sustainably sourced paper (FSC) to form the fragrance sticks. Scent stick holder is made of Mango wood in a subtle flexible design that will fit in any room. Scent lasts for 30 days. I received the spring water + lotus scent sticks out of curiosity and am enjoying the soft fragrance. The only downside for me is, it should come with 2 sets of scent sticks per package. After the scent is gone, you need to go to their site to order refills. They do have some good bundles to explore and several frangrace selections.

Environscent scent stix and stand is both beautiful and functional. I have air fresheners throughout my house. Like the clean or soothing smells in the air. The kit comes with 4 scent stixs, but the scent is really strong, so you can adjust the amount you want to use. The Spring Water and Lotus scent is pleasant and smells fresh. The holder is made of real wood, and would fit in any decor. It's environment friendly and pet safe. The stixs come enclosed in an air tight metal tube.

I would not recommend this product for the following reason. I used these scents in 2 areas of the home one which was a small area around 400 square foot and a larger area around 800 square foot and in both areas found the scent to be strong and to me with allergies found the scents to trigger a rather large allergy attack. I can say if you do not have allergies as I do then the scent is not offensive..

I really wanted to give a great review on this. I love the idea that it has non-toxic ingredients and is recyclable. I love the scent of this but it doesn't last long. It was only subtle at first anyway, and after two days I can't even smell it anymore unless I put my nose right up to it. I even used all four sticks at once. It's also in a very small bathroom so I would think it would be much more intense than it is. It's a great concept but needs improvement.
