ProFlex Leather Knee Pads - Wide Soft Cap

The ProFlex 230LTR Leather Knee Pads are built tough with real genuine leather to provide excellent traction and knee protection from fire, slag and sparks. The leather is abrasion-resistant and wraps over the top of the knee pad for extra durability and a longer life for both your knees and the knee pads, even for jobs that require working on your knees daily. I found these to be the most comfortable leather knee pads that I have ever used! The non-slip dual straps easy to adjust and the buckle closure keep the knee pad secured in place all day long without restricting circulation. These are especially nice in that one can remove the pad and replace them without having to make adjustments. Because they are made with soft leather these are the best work knee pads for use when one cannot mar the surface being knelled on, especially for the homeowner. The leather is resistance to heat, fire and abrasion makes for great welding knee pads for those that have to kneel to do position welds weld. These are not as good as “hard” kneecaps when working on sharp surfaces such as chipped rocks. These are made in China.

One can not have to many sets of knee pads and I have them for all types of jobs and these 'ProFlex Leather Knee Pads' fill a gap where hard shell or non-making just don't preform as well. One leather does have good traction and provides great protection from fire, sparks and heat. Heres an area for me they do well, automotive repair, getting up on an into the engine compartment they conform not only to your knee well but provide padding from the and for the surfaces of the vehicle. And here with an hot engine compartment you get the protection from the heat. They work equally well for rotating the tires to out in the yard or on the roof of the house. Buckle closure provides a comfortable and secure fit plus quick release or fastening, they are adjustable to fit most sizes. Added is the 'Anti-odor treatment applied to inner fabric liner'. There you have, easy to use and good padding and protects at a good price.

The Ergodyne proflex leather knee-pads with wide soft caps are the best knee pads I ever used. I wore these knee pads while replacing a sub floor and laying laminate flooring over that. They provided excellent knee comfort,and they remained in position on my legs while getting up and down and walking around my work area. They were so comfortable, I really forgot I had them on. The only disadvantage is that they can only be used on clean dry surfaces. ,

Big, soft, easy-on, easy-off. A lot to like, but I still had some issues with slipping. A lot to like: - Rivet and hook attachment for easy-on, easy-off - Soft, durable leather front - No hard plastic cap - Big Something not so good: - Top strap would not hold to my adjustment, ended up widening out, then the pad slipped - Comfortable, but not as comfortable as gel pads Still a good buy. I have a solution for the irritating slip. Read on. I really like the look, size and feel of these pads. I don't like hard cap pads for my usage, which is occasional up/down kind of work. Hard caps may be necessary for a concrete worker. These are probably not for that kind of work. These pads are good for the multi-use kneeler like me. I like the rivet/hook system over velcro because velcro catches a lot of "stuff", sometimes even clothing. Rivet/hook allows a quick on and off too. However, I found the top strap would not hold the size I needed. I wore these for 3 days of up/down kind of work, where I occasionally kneeled. So, I took a lot of steps and did a lot of activities. Each day, I found the top strip would loosen, and the pad would slip. On the third day, a friend mentioned setting the straps in a "cross" pattern. Good idea! They still fit well, and I found this eliminated much of the slipping. Made in China

Using a combination of soft, fabric faced padding on the inner (knee contact) area of the pad and a soft but rugged leather outer face, these knee pads will conform to your knee, stay in place and provide a cushioned contact point for your knee while minimizing damage to the outer facing from rough concrete or the like. A fungicide (DTSAC) is used to prevent odor from absorbed perspiration. The retaining straps (which appear to be substantial enough to last the life of the knee pads) are secured with a keyhole and button anchor which is very easy and quick to secure and detach. The straps are adjustable for leg girth and/or change in garment being worn. The padding does contain latex (which may be of concern to some) and there is a right side and left side pad (which is clearly marked on the strap). In summary a lightweight but sturdy set of knee pads which should ease the pain of kneeling on hard surfaces. I did not have occasion to contact the manufacturer’s customer service folks (as there were no problems with the knee pads), but any company that gives, in addition to their street address, their latitude, longitude and altitude is probably easy to deal with :-).

The Ergodyne ProFlex Leather Knee Pads - Wide Soft Cap are truly a light weight pair of knee pads. They are a lot lighter than all of our other knee pads. They are very comfortable to wear and don't slide down my legs as I get up and down and moving around. The leather is a different concept from the majority of the styles out there. On smooth flooring they do not skitter around like the smooth hard shells do. Although from wearing them for one day while I cleaned up the staples on a floor that we had pulled up the carpet in preparation for new carpet, the leather has suffered several cuts from moving about. Plus, the foam padding is thin enough that it doesn't protect the knees as well as our gel knees pads do. A little thicker leather for wear resistance and gel padding for long term comfort and protection would be a definite benefit. Thicker leather would also keep the buckle closures from stretching out quite so fast, that is a weak point on many different knee pads. We have many different styles of pads to use depending on what type of project that we are doing, these are ideal for a lot of getting up and down work where you don't want an extra 5 lbs of pads hanging on your knees, these weigh less than 1/2 lbs.

I have both hard and soft knee pads that I use on roofs and floors. Proflex leather knee pads are by far the most comfortable. I even leave them on when I take a brake. The extra wide straps hold them in place without cutting into my skin. They are designed to either crisis/cross or fasten straight across depending on your activity. The leather does not slide on the tile surface, I can hold my desired position. These are my knee pads of choice.

This set of leather knee pads is super comfortable! I was a bit worried because they look large and I have small knees, but the 1/2" foam covered in leather is soft and flexible, and conforms to my knees nicely. The straps are elastic and adjustable, and connect via a keyhole buckle and stud system. They will not scratch your floor like hard shell pads can. They are also great for weld, being made from leather. Very nice!

We do tile, flooring, build ramps and decks for neighbors often. I never had lots of love for most knee pads but these are comfortable, easy to put on and take off and well padded for the knees. Charles is a good size man and he was impressed while putting non skid strips on our porch ramp this weekend. The adjustment pf fot is an adjustable strip on one side and a metal slide in opening in the other side on the pad itself with a slide in button type fastener on adjustable side that slides in and holds securely. If one person wears them then they only have to adjust strip once, just attaching button into hole each time. Very quick and easy. Soft leather and extremely thick padding but so comfortable Charles actually wore them to HD to get more supplies, not realizing it until he got home. Too funny. Well made and thought out.

These knee pads are top notch, and I expect that they will last a lifetime! I initially ordered these to use around my work shop, kneeling under cars, etc. The padding is phenomenal and I have had no issues while kneeling and moving around the workshop. The leather material has lasted well despite the uneven/coarse surface, and I anticipate that will continue. If that wasn't enough, I caught my wife using them while she hand scrubbed the hardwood floor, and she too, felt they fit and wore well! The way the pads attach (with a clip attachment) makes them usable for many sizes. Both my wife and I recommend!
