I assume your question is about the screws. They might be a little too close for comfort as the screws themselves are about 3/4 inch. Since the thickness of the hinge itself gives you a little buffer, you might get lucky but I guess you can get new smaller screws.
The installation instructions note (1) Position hinge and mark screw holes (2) Drill 1/16" pilot holes (3) Install and tighten screws.
The continuous hinge is recommended for indoor use only.

The continuous hinge is not meant to be weight bearing.
The screws that come with the product are 0.35 inches long.
The leafs are 1 mm thick.
It is .04" or sliver less. If the question is really about rigidity, this product is NOT rigid in the way most piano hinges are. It bends with the flexibility of one of those metal drafting squares. Hold it out straight in front of you and it bends in an arc under its own light weight.
