A:  as it is galvanized, I would use zinc coated copper outside in the weather.

                      by|Apr 21, 2020

A:  This uncoated wire rope is not stainless steel, it is carbon steel. Using aluminum sleeves or zinc plated copper sleeves on this rope is ok, but be sure not break the rope.

I used this wire to mount a string of market lights approx. 35' across by 8' high. Was very easy to work with and I was able to tension it nicely.

Perfect size for supporting some string lights in the back yard - hopefully it doesn't rust too badly or too quickly...

We used this cable for a hanging, "floating" plant. This cable is priced way better than expected and holds serious amounts of weight. And it's super classy looking for design projects. Now we are hunting for the right pot to transplant our little buddy.

                                great for string lights
Hung four strands of string lights with no issues. Cable rowed out straight and cut clean.

                                  Strong wire, had issues cutting
It worked well for my project, but I needed to cut the wire cleanly to use with 1/16” ferrules. I couldn’t do it without borrowing $60 wire cutters, my metal cutters wouldn’t work well enough.
