Posts should be 2' taller than the Fencing because the posts need to be driven 2' into the ground. How many posts needed depends on the purpose of the fencing. If you're Fencing in animals, put posts closer together. General use, you can go 6' apart.
We have not tested our T Posts for use with galvanized iron fencing.
