A: Our T-Posts are commonly used for this purpose. Due to the higher weight of the waste station as opposed to fencing, you may want to consider utilizing a concrete footing for the T-post.
A: The post length is the length of the post as it is sold at Home Depot. 2 feet go into the ground. The remainder is above the ground and becomes the height of the fence. If you want a 6-foot fence, you need an 8-foot post. If you want a 4-foot fence, you need a 6-foot post. This is industry standard for fence height and component measurements.
A: T-posts are for heavier fencing such as welded wire. U-posts are for lighter-weight fencing such as garden fencing or chicken wire. There is also a price difference between the two fence post types.
