These are very strong and easily fit into the standard ¼” pegboard and position at 90° to the board. The perfect spacing makes the hook stay in place and no wiggle or wobble when putting items on or off. The rounded tip helps things slide on easily but may be a problem for items with smaller holes. They are a true 8” length from the board and easily holds 2 100’ extension cords. I used them in my cellar and in the garage to hold various items and really helped me organize the areas. I like this product very much and would highly recommend it.

As far as pegboard hooks go, you can’t expect much more of them other than them fulfilling their sole function. Construction is 1/4” steel rod with a zinc plating. These will fit standard 1/4” pegboard and will stick out 6” from the board. I noticed they’re not 100% straight; they’re kind of wavy, but for workshop/garage/workbench pegs, they’re more than satisfactory. The plating work is average, it’s on there but the finish is only “adequate”. In a damp environment, a garage where snow and road salt melts off, or a location exposed to salty air like a seaside location; I could see the plating on the pegs degrading and eventually rusting after a few years. I have no evidence of this though, it’s just my anecdotal assessment of the product. I needed to get some longer pegs since most of my pegs on my board in the basement are either too short or are hook shaped and don’t hold everything I want to put on each peg. I like to keep certain things I use constantly in plain sight and on the same peg, or another next to it, so it’s all easily accessible. These pegs slipped right into my existing peg board and are long enough that they will hold numerous items securely and visibly, but not too long that they hinder or interfere with the rest of the items on my pegboard. The only thing that may be a hinderance for some people is that the ball on the end is rather large, and certain packages designed for hanging on pegs may not slip over the end.

Having tools and hardware are great and for me a must-have but if you cat find what your looking for they are worthless. My wife would tell you I'm OCD especially and my shop but being organized saves time that I could be working on a project rather than looking for something. These peg hooks are a good length and have a nice finish. They are sturdy enough to load them to the capacity of the pegboard.

These are not only the thicker variety, they have the nice safety feature of the "ball ends" at the tip so you don't cut yourself. That is a nice-to-have. Also, because of the fortitude of the 1/4 inch stock, you can go side-by-side to hang hammers or other heavier items that hat a T-shaped configuration. I posted a picture of the "hammer configuration" in my photos below. I'll go through and eventually replace all of my 1/8 inch stock with these, but as a guy, I am solemnly sworn to never actually fully finish a project, so...

These peghooks are zinc plated and fits 1/4 inches pegboard. This package comes with 12 pieces of 1/4 x 10 inches peghooks. This is a great product by Everbilt. Highly recommend it if you want to set up a nice pegboard with hooks. These peghooks have so many uses.

Ordered the peg hooks for holding larger tools on my pegboards in the garage. The hooks are heavy duty, and the medium length (8 inch) units hold a lot of items. The 8 inch length is about right for a wide variety of items organized on my peg board. I like the durability of the steel hooks with the corrosion resistant zinc plating. Think the 12 pack is excellent quality and a good value for the price.

Review for the Everbilt 8 in. Zinc-Plated Steel Straight Peg Hooks (12-Pack) for 1/4 in. Pegboards. These are nice pegboard hooks. Our pegboard needs a little attention / reorganization. This 12-pack of hooks should be a great help in that regards. The plating is nice. There is good fit on 1/4 inch pegboard. I have had other pegboard hooks that kind of snap in place and are not as easy to accidently knock off the pegboard. Sadly, these do NOT have that feature.
