Q:I am looking to bend this plate over a corner surface. I understand that's not it's purpose but will the material be able to endure a 90 degree bend without shearing?

I just had to be certain that the layers below were viable, then epoxy sealed it before installing plate. Looks great, should last a while. It was cheaper than replacing door.
