A:  For the Everbilt 17 in. Wall-Mounted White Steel Spring Grip Clip Adjustable Storage Bar, can be used as long as you do not exceed the weight limit of 5 lbs for each clamp.

A:  That is exactly what I use it for and it works well.

A:  I would say rakes and brooms maybe not snow shovels

A:  I think the handles would be too big for it. I have mops and regular brooms hanging on it and the clips are pretty tight.

A:  Not that I've ever found. But if you did lessen the tension on the spring, you wouldn't have a very secure grip on the handle any more either.

A:  For the Everbilt 17 in. Wall-Mounted White Steel Adjustable Spring Storage Clip Bar, please place the larger side of the clip on the right side during installation, then push it away with your finger before use to put in the tool.

A:  Take a closer look at the longer tab of the clip and you will notice it says "PUSH". So, grasp the broomstick with your right hand and use your thumb to push that tab and the broom will pop out. Unless you're like me, didn't pay attention and installed the rail upside down, then you should use your left hand to grasp and left thumb to push. Nobody's perfect!

A:  I pull the broom handle from below the clip, and the top of the handle then pries off the wall above, releasing from those very strong clips.

A:  No.. they require a good push till it clicks

A:  I like mine and wish I had purchased several to run side to side I do not know if they would side in to each but if you have room they work quite well.

A:  I think that the five that come with it is plenty. I'm wondering if you put more clips on if the items would be too close together. I would just buy another set.

A:  We do not carry additional clips for this storage bar.

A:  They can slide but they pop off very easily.

A:  The clips slide and you can position them any place on the bar.

A:  yes they can be moved or even removed. I only needed 3 of the clips. So I have 2 extras if i were to need them later on down the road for replacements or need to add more things.
