    Great drawer slides
The Everbilt 18 in. Bottom Mount Soft Close Drawer Slides are a well built and very functional set of slides. They are easy to install and even come with mounting screws. The soft close feature works well and insures proper closure without slamming. They are sturdy enough to handle a quite big drawer loaded down. They are also silent in operation.

The Everbilt 18 in. Bottom Mount Drawer Slide with Soft Close Set is a sturdy draw slide that eliminates slamming your drawers close providing extended life to your drawers by reducing the shock associated with closing drawers. They easily attach to the bottom of your drawers which make them easy to install. They are designed with a stop that prevents you from pulling the drawer off track when opening. The roller assist with smooth operation when opening and closing drawers. I recommend these drawer slides as an upgrade to existing drawers without the mentioned features and for those of us that build their own cabinets and drawers.

These bottom mount drawer slide with soft close set from everbilt are a great way to upgrade a kitchen. The kit comes with the tracks and hardware you'd need to install one full set/one drawer. There are some simple directions that accompany the product, but I found that there were several youtube tutorials in case you need more visual reference. This 18 inch set is great for drawers that you dont need to fully pul out, for me, pairs well with my drawer container spatulas (for example a "junk drawer" where you may need full access to find small bits a longer track may be preferred). Once our preexisting tracks were cleared these took me about 45 minutes to install, im a novice DIYer.

These are relatively simple, moderate-quality drawer slides. I would compare these to traditional slides that you would find on contractor-quality cabinets, except these add a soft-close feature on one side (which enables the soft close feature for the entire drawer. These are easy enough to install on the bottoms/sides of the drawer. Other Everbilt slides are heavier duty and have soft close mechanisms on both sides (to me this makes them move a bit more smoothly). Generally these are good, especially if you are being a bit budget conscious.

They work great was very surprised. I ordered 2 sizes a 18" and a 20" now sure what size I needed at the time. Any way I used the 18" on a Ikea cabinet top drawer. I was very curious how this worked. So I put the 2 parts together and moved it by hand and it did not seem to work like I expected but I installed it anyway to make sure they worked. I removed the old bottom mount slides and installed the new Everbilt slides. I used the instructions and installed as per instruction. I put the drawer back in the cabinet and pushed it in all the way. That's when I could fill the slide working as I got to about 1 to 2 inches from closed it got hard to push and I just pushed it all the way in. This is when the slide engaged and then it really surprised me. I pulled it out and then just gave it a push back in and let go. The Drawer went all the way in till it engaged the soft close mechanism that's when it closed by its self nice and soft and went all the way in. I did it 4 times and every time it worked with out fail. Very well made and strong enough for a 36" wide Drawer. will be using a lot of these when I make pull outs for the wife's new cabinets

Before I got these I thought I had to spend more to get soft close drawer slides, one with lots of screw holds like you see in heavy duty (holds 100 lbs) slides. With the exception of the soft close piston these look like the regular drawer slides you find in most kitchens or night stands. I have a cabinet I built for my daughter where I am going to swap out the original slide for these, these should work great.

Let me start off by saying that this Everbuilr 18 in. Bottom mount drawer slide with soft close set. Will not work for a slide out shelf picture enclosed. When I read the term bottom mount I thought I could mount it to the cabinet not going to happen. So I can't give this product an honest review!...................................................

I am a beginner cabinet/drawer maker, so I tried a set of these Everbilt bottom drawer slides with soft close in both white and chrome/silver color. You can see from the pictures how the package is and after install, my beginner drawer holding my "keep the marriage strong" books. Not sure I am doing the best at either but at least haven't given up. The slides work very well but boy does the word 'square' really matter! It took some serious time to make sure everything was square to get the drawer to operate smoothly. I know these are not the highest quality but for my limited use, they worked just right.

The mounting holes to the drawer did match with the old drawer rails. The cabinet mounting holes did match and those were easy to install. The installation manual is bad because the last step says the latch must be set forward but does not specify what is forward. It was actually just to pull out the mechanism to set it forward. Installation took longer a little because of this but it works well after.

These EverBilt soft close drawer slides were difficult for me to install. First, I had to buy some rear panel brackets because my cabinets have face frames. Then I wound up removing the soft close mechanism because it was too cumbersome. The objective was to fix a drawer that somehow got damaged and wouldn’t open or close properly. In the end, the drawer is functional once again, and I hope I never have to do this again.
