    A:  Yes you could mount them like that. It's been awhile since I installed on but I want to say the screws are about 1/2" long.

      A:  No. they were 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 not what was shone on package.....

      A:  This Middle Hinge is not the kind of concealed hinge. After installment the barrel will show at the outside. The arms will leave a slit when closed. Size of the screw: (#6x5/8” Flat Head Screw, Length: 5/8” inch)
