I used these posts to secure some blackberry vines to a rope for a trellis. They went in ground to the ground (mostly because it had just rained and the ground was pliable), its a good time to use these when you need to. Otherwise, they secure really well into the soil next to the garden box. We had some 60-70 mile an hour winds just recently and they didnt budge. I wont know how well they hold up in the long run but for now, they are good and sturdy. : )

Windy but sturdy
We recently bought several large trees for our yard and wanted to put a stake in the ground to hold trees straight we live out in the country and it gets windy the stakes worked perfect so far.

I needed a post for a metal sign and this worked perfectly. Our soil is 75% rock so I thought it would be difficult to put in but I alternated between a sledge and a framing hammer and drove in with little trouble. If i was doing multiple posts I would rent or buy the post driver tool.
