Industrial steel swivel casters are made for heavy-duty, harsh condition use. They are resistant to chemicals, heat and oil. Recommended surfaces are hard surfaces like concrete on a shop or warehouse floor. Steel construction will last for years and will not wear or flatten like rubber.

Q:Are these water resistant? I want to use them outside on a concrete patio.

A:  The Everbilt 2 in. Industrial Steel Swivel Plate Caster, 150 lbs. Weight Capacity, Silver is not specifically designed for outdoor use. Rust and corrosion could occur.

    A:  I haven't seen a spec that calls them water resistant, but, I'm sure they will be just fine if they're outside in foul weather. if they are submerged, let them dry out then squeeze some light grease or oil onto the wheel shafts and pivot bearings.

      A:  A wood tile is likely to be 3/4" thick and the 4 holes in the caster mounting flange are a little more than 1/4" in diameter. Try attaching the caster to the wood tile with 1/4" diameter lag bolts that are 3/4" long.

              Leaves a trail of metallic paint
              Strong casters. I put my 21 sqft freezer on them, but found they left a trail of metallic paint everywhere they roll. Had to carefully roll the freezer on pieces of cardboard to keep my floors from being marked up.
