A:  The package says that is all natural and biodegradable. It does feel like something is on the twine to help hold it together. No chemical smell, possibly a wax. Also the product is made in China.

A:  #42 x 2250 ft. Twisted Sisal Rope Twine, Natural can be used for this purpose. Please note that the working load of the sisal rope is 16 lbs. and the planter pot should not exceed this limit.

A:  I wouldn't use it for macrame plant holders. It's fairly strong but thin and "fuzzy".

              by|Dec 24, 2020

A:  We use this for tying grape vines to the wire. If used for pots you should have many strings for support and be careful not to get it wet each time you water.

Falsely advertised as 16 LB working load limit.
I wanted a heavier working load limit so I selected this because it is advertised at 16 LB working load limit, the label on the twine says 8 LB working limit.

This product is not what I expected it to be. It breaks too easy and tangles too fast.

I use this twine to bundle old newspapers and corrugated cardboard for recycling. It is thick enough to keep the bundles wrapped without fear of breaking. I've been using it for decades with good success.
