Radiant Barrier for enclosed porch.
I live in Florida. I have a enclosed porch that seemed to be more of a hot box. I noticed my ceiling seemed very hot, so tried this radiant barrier out. I was very surprised by how well this blocks out the heat. The pictures can show you the temperature difference between with and without the barrier!

Isn't the Reflectix you bought 5+ years ago...
In the picture below the piece on the left is from a roll I bought at least five years ago. Note it's easily twice as thick as the stuff on the right which I bought five days ago. Pretty sad. This cannot have the same insulation capability as the old stuff. Really disappointed. Had no choice, it's all you can get.

        Sorry Replacement
This company Everbilt shouldn’t be allowed to look like Reflectix insulation! It’s not only expensive, but not of good quality and very thin! I’m so disappointed with this company Everbilt! Shame on them for ripping off hard working people of their hard working pay. We’re stuck placing this thin foil that is of bad quality because we need to over our shed fast, but now we must use double of insulation! Don’t bother buying this unless you have free money to spend. Shame on Everbilt!

This worked out just perfect for a feral cat shelter I made for a friend. I cut to size to fit inside walls of shelter, first applied spray adhesive to put them in place and then framed them in to secure them in place. Worked out great.

              This is Not Reflectix
This is not the same stuff I've been buying from home depot for years. I used the buy the Reflectix product which was twice as thick for the same price. This new product by Everbilt, deceitfully marketed to look like the original reflectix is super thin, flimsy, and frankly a rip off for the money. Not happy.

Perfect for garage door insulation I know most people use this reflective insulation in crawl spa...
Perfect for garage door insulation I know most people use this reflective insulation in crawl spaces and walls but I used it as garage door insulation. It not only insulates against the frigid temperatures during the PA winters but it is also a good sound insulator. I previously lived in CA where there are a few cold winter days but in PA the temperatures can drop to near zero and even an attached garage is freezing. I cut pieces from this 25 foot roll and placed them with 3m adhesive strips to each panel and it kept the garage above 30 degrees most of the winter. I wish I could have used one continuous roll to block the air gaps where the hinges were but the hinges prevented me from installing it that way. This Everbilt insulation is light weight, easy to trim and doesn’t have any chemical irritants. It’s perfect to use as a garage door insulator especially in the winter months. I plan on leaving mine up all year because it also keeps the garage cooler in the summer.
