I purchased this to replace another pull plate. This is way better looking. Super easy to install...I didn't have a drill, so I hammered the screw in a bit then with a screwdriver, screwed it in to the door...perfect and secure. Super inexpensive. Easy to clean.

Too flimsy for my application.
I bought a four of these to replace the worn out hardware on two doors. I found that the screws supplied with the plate are very poorly made and the heads twisted off of about 1/3 of them. Once I had drilled out the broken screws and finally got the plate mounted, I found that the plate is very flexible and doesn't have a quality feel. I will be buying something else to replace this flimsy hardware tomorrow.

I recently was trying to help a neighbor change her...
I recently was trying to help a neighbor change her lock set when I discovered that the door had been kicked in and not replaced by the previous owner but hidden beneath a metal guard. We realized that the door needed replacing but I couldn’t get the splintered door to hold the handle set again to get her through til the installer could come. Putting the strike guard back on I was able to attach this handle and plate to the door to cover the door knob hole and give her the leverage to be able to close and still lock the door. Worked great.
