I bought 150 of the “value” hinges and purchased these for my heavy traffic doors (main floor bath, guest bedroom, master bedroom, etc). Sadly, I can’t figure out which is worse. These hinges are insanely cheap and are 10x worse than the gold builder grade hinges I replaced. I can try and slam the door closed and it will mayyyyybe come close to closing. Because they are “slow close”, imagine putting a lubricant between your fingers and rubbing them together right next to your ear....that’s the sound every time you open/close the door. On top of that, they are getting black stain on my white trim and have some weird black debris coming out

These are horribly cheap. Don't bother. Cheap, weak metal. We've had them installed for a week and on 2 of our 6 doors, the hinges have been slightly forced apart by the on-hinge doorstopper. We had those doorstoppers on our other hinges for years and that never happened. Now the doors won't shut properly because when the hinge is mostly closed, there is a big gap between door and doorframe. We've had to take the doorstopper off so it doesn't get worse until we can find different hinges, and we risk damaging the wall with a doorknob.

I used these hinges on a playhouse that I built for my granddaughter. Very good quality hinge that I'd recommend for a standard door. Hardware is included and matches the color. I like the style of these hinges and the appear to be very well made and solid. Installation was easy with a standard mortising template and they fit perfectly. I have installed a couple of these and I would recommend these hinges to anyone looking for style and a durable solution for doors.

You can feel the smooth action right out of the box. I could notice a difference between the smooth action and the standard hinge immediately. The smooth action feels more heavy duty and should work better on heavier doors. The hinges match my current door size and will be a breeze to replace. I like the matte black finish it goes great with my color scheme of oil bronze/matte black. I highly recommend this hinge as an upgrade over the standard hinges.

This door hinge pack is excellent. It comes with 19 screws, 1 extra in case you lose one, 3 door hinges and instructions.
The finish on the screws and door hinges were smooth and even. Installation was easy. The door hinges were smooth and quiet while swinging the door open and closed.
The door hinges look great. I have taken pictures on the inside and outside of the door frame.
The hinges are solid and don't wiggle loosely like worn/old hinges may on a door hinge pin.

Is there beauty in utility hardware? When it comes to the 3-12in. Matte Black 5/8 in. Radius Smooth Action Hinge by EVERBUILT, my answer is emphatically, YES! Ordered online, the hinge project 3-pack shipped and was delivered promptly in a well-packed cardboard box. The hinges are intending for use on residential doors up to 1-3/8 in thick--the perfect application for replacing old overpainted hinges on the door to my storage shed, and nicely matched the other hardware on the door. Packaging includes easy to follow instructions and the non-rising pin can be removed for ease of assembly, if needed. The set also comes with 2 extra screws so if I hadn't been able to locate the one that I dropped, no problem. The label indicates: "Smooth Action Operation" and is absolutely true!
