Q:How do you attach these to chains?

A:  You would have to open the chain, and close it around the ring. Or use rope, tying it around the ring.

    A:  Everbilt 3/16 in. x 1-1/2 in. Nickel-Plated Ring (2-Pack) cannot be opened so a link in the chain would have to be opened and close around the ring.
