This 3/4 in. x 3/4 in. x 18 in. stainless steel braided supply line starts with an extruded core of PVC tubing. The core is then over-braided with polyester yarn and another layer of PVC material. The final layer consists of stainless steel braid to form a strong, yet flexible supply line.

Answer This Question
A:Â Hi, wrenchsize - Nut sizing is based on the size of the pipe to which it will be affixed. In this case, the nut size is 3/4". A sample part was measured in our office and the flat-to-flat outside dimension on the nut was 1.15".

The one we replaced, Everbilt, blew a hole in the braided line. Pressured water flooded the garage. Have never seen a braided line blow. We replaced with, Everbilt, braided line and one of the braided lines just kept leaking at the connection. Note: we replaced 2, but only 1 leaked. We ended up replacing both of the brand new, replaced Everbilt lines, with a new brand, after so much trouble with Everbilt.

I am sorry to hear about the trouble that you are having RAH. These water connectors are rated for a maximum operating pressure of 125 psi and a max operating temperature of 160°F. Please check your system pressure and temperature. Excessive pressure and temperature will decrease the service life of water connectors and could cause the type of failure that you are describing. If possible, give me a call so I can learn more about your installation? (661) 257-3923. I am here from 8-5 Los Angeles Time M-F. Ask for Jon.

Purchased two of these lines when installing a brand new hot water heater. Both flex lines would form a water tight seal to the brass threads sweated to the copper lines, neither would form a proper water tight seal to the dialectic nipples on the hot water tank. Replaced both with tradictional copper supply lines, no more leaks. Home Depot should pull this product, it's absolute garbage. Also, read the instructions, you're supposed to check for leaks every 6 months. Yeah, like that's ever going to happen in the real world.

I am sorry that you had that problem. You may want to consider turning your water off when you are away from your house for that long.

Helped simplify a complex water heater replacement -- we still had several copper sweat joints to connect for our hydroponic floor heating system. The new system did seem to cut the flow of hot water to the house -- no big deal. But with the two new Supply Lines and reconnection, the floor heating system is much quieter (no sound ;-).
