Hi BaffinBay, these clamps are made using 201 grade stainless steel for the band and housing, the screws are made of 304 grade stainless steel. These clamps can be used but are not the best for marine applications. The higher grade stainless has more corrosion resistance properties and are best suited for marine applications.
