Exactly what is needed
These are the wheels you want if you are looking for mobility and locking into a stationary position. These locks brake the tire AND the swivel action which most other wheels do not. I made a small cart for my portable thickness planer

That red trim is cheap plastic and it will crack eventually- I have gone through a set. They are not rated correctly!!!

Smooth rolling. Easy to install. Brakes are strong. Only need to engage two of the four wheels to lock a cart in place. I've purchased at least a dozen now and made movable carts/tables for my saws. I plan on buying more.

I applied these wheels to my miter saw station. They were easy to put on, the cart rolls easily and smoothly. The locks hold this table rock solid for when I am cutting. Additionally I find three inch wheels about as small as I am willing to use on my shop projects, easy to reach the locks and a smoother roll than most two inch wheels I have used in the past.
