Q:Fluidmaster fill valve has a refill clip on the refill tube. The Everbilt flush valve has a stop cap on the overflow tube. How do I get the refill tube with clip onto the overflow tube with the stop cap? Can't remove stop cap on overflow tube.

Works in American Standard Champion Toilet 4215A
The issue with the original flush valve was the cap does not sit straight and is slightly off center which causes additional water to flow into the toilet and the tank having to refill. The item fits in American Standard 4215A toilet
YOU MUST MAKE SURE IT IS CENTERED WHEN SCREWING IN THE NUT to secure it to the tank otherwise it will leak. You must use the included gasket as well as it fits perfectly over the part to create a tight seal when connecting the tank to the toilet

Returned unopened. It is designed for a toilet with a removable tank rather than the one-piece model I was repairing.
I returned this part unopened. This did not fit a one piece toilet. This part requires the toilet tank to bee removed and reinstalled. That was not possible on the American Standard model needing repair.

Worked great. I had purchased a korky kit but it only had the 2" flapper and of course I only realized once I got the tank off and everything disassembled. I ran to home depot and a staff member helped me figure out this solution which worked with the existing fluidmaster fill valve. I just shoved the end of the black tube coming from the fill valve into the top so the water would not spray out. Now the toilet doesn't hiss every few minutes and waste water.

Easy to install and fixed my leaky toilet. You'll need large channel locks or you can buy the tool (you'll see it hanging near the product) to remove the plastic retainer under the tank. Don't over tighten any fasteners. Slightly more than finger tight is enough.

“Easy install” fake advertising
Easy install is only true if you already know how to do it. Instructions are horrendous as they don’t instruct at all. Makes product impossible to use.

Excellent product. Easy to install. Solved the leaky toilet problem, water bill should go down. When the flapper valve is leaking, don't just replace the flapper. The valve seat might be the problem. Replace the whole thing !!!!
