Q:Does the hinge have a limited range when opening? Was thinking about using these for a nonrecessed shutter so it needs to fold flat. Thanks!

A:  The Everbilt 3 in. x 3 in. Black Tee Surface Mount Hinge (2-Pack) does have limited range when opening. It does not open completely 360 degrees.

      A:  It depends on the length of the screws that come with the kit. Take the light of the screw and the thickness of the sheet rock and you will get your answer

        A:  The screws included in the 3 in. x 3 in. Black Tee Surface Mount Hinge (2-Pack) are 3/4 (.75) inches long. This will be longer than the .703 inch thick plywood.

          A:  Hey Supplier Quality: You said the screws are slightly longer than the thickness of the wood, and would thus come through the wood, but are you taking into account the fact that the screw heads have to seat into the thickness of the hinge itself? Thank you.

            A:  The Tee Hinge should be in the aisle with gate hardware / door hinges. You can check with a store associate for the specific aisle number as it does differ by store.

              Husband is assembling a recipe card box for me for storage of inherited recipe cards. These hinges are the perfect size he needed. The two-pack is great and fasteners are also the depth needed. Sorry I can't show the completed project. He decided to make this a double compartment box since the hinges are more than sufficient for a larger box. We went with zinc-plated to match a display of antique metal strainers, graters, and sifters.

              I recently built a few cornhole boards for a friend and wanted to add a compartment to store the bags underneath the boards. I installed these tee hinges on the small doors of the compartments. The hinges installed easily with the included hardware. The hinge action is very smooth when opening and closing the doors. I chose these becuase the zinc plating should hold up well to the elements. So far it has held up fine.

              These are the perfect little hinges for small jobs. I used these hinges to replace the ones on our small chicken coop, and they worked great as they are better quality then the ones that were originally on it. They are zinc-plated, and so are great for semi-outdoor use. Their strength was plenty to hold up a 3'x2' roof panel that opens, and were solid enough to hold it straight and firm when re-closing it. For the price, you are getting a good quality hinge for your project.

They are perfect for those small projects that require a smaller hinge, They can handle most jobs around the home, including gates, cabinet doors, and so many more things that require a smaller hinge. The zinc platting protects it for long lasting indoor or out use.

              These Everbilt 3” Zinc Plated Tee Hinges are simply put, just perfect for those small jobs. Over the years I have purchased these very hinges for a plethora of small jobs around our farm & ranch. From rabbit hutches & chicken coops to several small yet lightweight closures, these have always worked as designed. I don’t think in all my years of using this very brand have I ever had a failure.               Everbilt 3 in. Zinc-Plated Tee Hinge (2-Pack) I love these types of hinges and have used them mostly for cabinet doors on many of my projects. The zinc plated finish helps with any rusting. The sealed bearings provide a smooth open and close. The offset screw holes really help keep the hinges in place once installed. I have never had one of the hinges fail. I really like that they come with the mounting screws many hinges don’t then you have to purchase those separately.

Easy install, just screw in,of course if installing as a pair make sure they are perfectly aligned for best performance. No weight rating is provided, I imagine this is because it will vary depending upon the application
