Q:I will need to cut in the hinge cup so I am concerned if this will fit in this cabinet door frame. Effectively the door frame is 1 1/2" wide and 7/8" deep. Can I cut the right cup hole without compromising the door frame?

broken screws
The hinge is great. I really like the soft close. DO NOT use the screws they give. I had 3 break in my faceframe now there is the meral screw shaft right where I need a hole for the hinge. I dont know how im going to attach my new screws for the hinge

Both mounting screws broke while installing.
Very cheap screws, if you must purchase this garbage; use better screws to mount to the cabinet

Screws
The hinges seem fine but DO NOT use the supplied screws. The first three screws broke off in the door. I’ve had to stop and will go purchase other screws.

Screws Snap Off
The hinges themselves work fine, but it was extremely frustrating to have so many screws snap off during install. They suggest using a 3/16" pilot hole, but when the first couple of screws snapped off, I went up to a 1/8" pilot and they still snapped off! These screws are defective. It is a royal pain to get submerged screws out of the the cabinet frames, so it is costing me lots of time. After going online to see if was doing something wrong, I saw these reviews. I have to use different screws.

Bad screws
The hinges themselves work great, but the first three screws I used (that came with the hinges) all snapped when I was screwing them into my cabinet doors. So now half of the screw is stuck in the wood and I'm going to have to figure out how to get them out or order new doors. I read this happened to another user in the last week so they must have released a bad batch. Hoping customer service can fix this because it's such a bummer...

Do not buy. Screw head snap off.
The hinges might be fine, but I have had three! One two three screw heads snap when screwed my into pre drilled particle board cabinets. This has just ruined my entire afternoon.

No more Slamming Doors
These soft close hinges work well and keep cabinet doors from slamming closed. A soft push towards close is all it takes and the hinge does the rest. We have been building our own cabinets over the past few years and are down to the last doors in the kitchen. They new hinges work as well as the first sets of these hinges used on all the prior sets of bathroom and kitchen doors.

Screws were BAD.
We had multiple screws break while trying to install these hinges. We had to use our own screws. Based on the past few comments, they must have had a bad batch of screws. They should recall the product.
