I have used other spring loaded hinges before. This particular hinge is okay. I just don’t like the tiny little pin you have to use to lock the tension in place. The little pin can easily be dropped and lost.

To be honest, I was disappointed. I used three on my front door, and there still was not enough torque to close the door completely. One hinge spring even snapped and broke, and I had to replace it.
I cannot recommend this product given my outcome.
