GOOD DESIGN, BAD QUALITY CONTROL
Shopped around for caster wheels for my mobile work bench (to support a 100lbs planer and other tools) so wanted something with bearings, rubber wheels, and quality break. These looked the best of all locally available selection. Got 4 and after bolting down 2 discovered that only 1 had good break mechanism and 1 would wobble on its axis after being locked. (See the photo where black spring engages with cog wheel to lock down the pivot axis.) Went back to my "local" HD and picked through their inventory of 11, just to find out I lucked out on the only good one they had. Drove twenty minutes to another HD and picked through their inventory of 7 they had, and found that 5 were good. So I ended up with 4 good ones for my project and returned the rest. The bench is steady! Good product design but poor production tolerances.

Two way locking makes them more secure than casters that only stop roll. And, they can be placed on all four corners for easier maneuvering. Large size makes them easy to move across most surfaces. Worth the extra cost.

The polyurithane wheels did not last
I used these wheels on a table for my BBQ grill. In under two years the polyurithane has disentrigated. The load per wheel was less than 75 pounds and the grill was stationary on a concrete surface

I wanted to make a stand for my wood lathe that I could wheel outdoors on nicer days to limit the mess in my shop and these were perfect for the application. I didn't realize until after I installed them that activating the brake lever also locks the swivel feature of the caster - bonus!

Beastly, but smooth
I bought these to go under a 8’ workbench I was building for my garage. Theyre hefty, big and bulky, but that’s exactly what you want, right? Once i had them installed, I started rolling around my 250lb workbench all over my uneven, sawdust and splinter laden garage... and it was light and butter smooth. I had expected a somewhat clunky, stiff operation but was met with an easy to maneuver and fairly light workbench. My petite and very pregnant wife was even able to roll it around wothout any problems. Way better than i expected. Would highly recommend.
