Solid bolt, easy install, strange missing screw. The bolt side was very solid, zinc plated so it should be resistant to rust, but still strong. Screws were pretty light weight, but should be effective enough in a solid core door. The latch side is solid enough, but I have it up with one screw now, because they sent 5 screws for holes. Very strange omission.

This 4 inch zinc plated barrel bolt lock by Everbilt is 1/16 inch thick metal, well made, and includes all screws required. All you really need for the installation is a Phillips head screwdriver, but a small bit drill to make the starter holes would help. I used this on an interior door that didn’t have a locking knob. It secures the door well, and was a quick easy project.
